The “Over The Hill Gang" is a men’s softball league that consists of players that are 40 and over.

• The league consists of 12 teams that play with rule modifications that are geared toward safety (double 1st base, no sliding, etc)
• Although this is the “Over the Hill Gang" softball league don’t be misled by its moniker.  The level of play is strong, highly competitive and games are spirited
• Games are 9 innings with a continuous batting order, free substitutions and each at bat begins with a 1-1 count
• There is a 16 game schedule from April to August with make up dates at the end of August
• All teams play in a Wild Card/Double Elimination Tournament during Sep-Oct
• The league plays Friday evenings at the Town of Oyster Bay’s Allen Park. Three fields are utilized, including a traditional dirt/grass 60 foot field and two modern turf/grass 60 and 90 foot fields. Game times are 7:15pm and 8:45pm

For those interested in joining our league for the upcoming season, registration is held starting in January. Exact dates and information will be posted to the OTHG home page around the end of December. To be eligible you need to be at least 40 years old (reached at any time during the calendar year). An on-line “Registration" form can be completed and submitted in advance.
